Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information 67slash collects, how it is used, and the choices available to players.

Last updated: April 26, 2026

Information We Collect

We collect account information when you sign in or create an account, such as your email address and provider account identifier. If you use guest mode, we create a local browser player identifier so your runs can stay linked on that device.

We collect player profile and gameplay information, including display name, username, avatar settings, scores, run history, badges, friends, friend requests, challenge invites, group leaderboard memberships, notifications, and profile settings.

We collect basic device, browser, and usage information through our app infrastructure and analytics tools so we can keep the service working, understand feature usage, and improve the product.

Camera and Pose Data

The pose challenge can ask for camera access. The current web app processes camera frames in your browser to estimate arm movement and calculate a score.

We do not upload camera video, camera images, or pose frames to our servers for normal gameplay. The browser may temporarily access camera data during an active challenge, and the app stores only gameplay results such as score, duration, mode, and related challenge metadata.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide core gameplay, save progress, show leaderboards, connect friends, manage challenges and group leaderboards, deliver notifications, support account sign-in, and operate the service.

We also use information to debug issues, prevent abuse, evaluate feature flags, measure product performance, and decide what to improve next.

Service Providers

We use Convex to provide backend data storage, realtime queries, authentication infrastructure, and server functions. We use PostHog for analytics and feature flag evaluation. We use Google as an optional OAuth sign-in provider.

These providers process information for us according to their own terms and privacy commitments. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

Your display name, username, avatar, scores, badges, and leaderboard-related activity may be visible to other users where the product shows global leaderboards, friend leaderboards, group leaderboards, activity, or challenge results.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the service or users, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Your Choices

You can use guest mode without creating an account. You can choose whether to sign in with Google or email and password. You can update your display name and certain profile settings in the app. Usernames are intended to remain permanent after assignment.

You can control camera access through your browser or device settings. You can also disable cookies or similar browser storage, but some features may stop working.

Retention and Security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

67slash is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

Changes and Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the app or website.
